The Smart Projector was definitely the winner during a meetup I recently hosted for some of the kids from our bilingual playgroup to check out the toys and games Ingenio sent us to review.
At first, I had been a little worried about how it was going to turn out because none of the kids are older than 4 and even though this company’s toys are recommended for those 3 years and older and Vanessa had already played with some of them, she didn’t really do it the intended way, if that’s even possible to say about children and toys… I guess, though, that’s the whole idea behind Ingenio’s toys–something we’ve been mentioning all along–that they actually grow with your children.
The Smart Projector is another clever idea by the creators over at Ingenio and these are some of the reason why I liked it:
- it’s definitely sturdy, which means Vanessa can lug it around without worries that it will break apart in pieces
- the actual projection of the different animals and letters can be really intriguing for the kids, which means–at least in Vanessa’s case–it keeps her entertained longer than other toys
- variety of options for kids to trace: 24 animals (with their names in both English + Spanish) and the alphabet in lower and capital letters
- it’s ease of use. Not too many buttons and the disks go in and come out of their slots fairly easily. Anything that Vanessa can do on her own, gets a plus in my book!
Although my daughter only recently started showing an interest in drawing and coloring, if your kids like these activities already, I believe this toy will be a hit. Once again, they’ll be learning without even realizing it.
All of Ingenio´s bilingual toys are available via Amazon. Of course, the best way to get them is via La Tiendita.

My son would love this. He would to trace and color. This could be a great way also to teach him the spanish names of animals. He has picked some Spanish off of cartoons but this would be more enjoyable to him. thanks for the chance.
My little one loves to draw.
I want to win this so I can have some artful fun with my kids, my nieces & nephews and the neighbors. Thanks!
My boy wants one of these real bad. Hope I get it!
I would love to win this for my kids. My daughter is not quite three so – like you said – I’m sure she’d have a lot of growing to do. My son is just 7 and needs some help with handwriting and motor skills so this tracing activity would be great! Thanks.

great learning tool for my kids.
I want to win because it’s important to learn other languages early!
My son turns 3 this week and he is just starting to get into tracing (aka drawing lines that he interprets as objects or letters:). This looks like so much fun. I am going to Ingenio’s link to my son’s Christmas wish list. Thanks again for great giveaways!
Love the Smart Projector. My son is doing virtual public school and gets to do a Kindergarten Spanish course. He has never been into drawing much, but I could gurantee you this toy would change that fast. Being an artist myself, I love it. A great way to learn and have fun.
The smart projector is awesome. It could be used at home, school and even Sunday school at church. I know it would provide endless hours of fun, while being educational at the same time. Hope I win. Good luck to all.

I would love to win this for my daughter. She is about to have her first birthday and I speak in several languages with her, so this would be perfect.
We would love to have this in our home. My niece and two nephews (ages 1 – 5) will be visiting from Italy while hear and since Spanish and Italian have so many common words and sounds I know it will be a big hit while I help care for them.
See, their Daddy, is being deployed from Italy where they moved only three months ago, to fly planes in the war. It’s going to be a rough time for mommy and the children so play will be a major factor in helping them through!
I so hope we win this! Thanks. Graci. Gracias.

I’d like this because my kids would have a lot of fun with it
I would love to win the Smart projector, because i truly believe my niece and little nephew would absolutely love it. Aside from that I think it’s a great thing to teach kids other languages while they’re young, since they adapt to learning second or even more languages at a younger age, much easier.

I have a 4 year old nephew who loves to draw and color. His mother is phillipino so he knows a bit of the phillipino language Tagalog. I think it would be great to expose him to as many different languages as possible. I have a 1 year son that could use this eduational toy/device in the near future.

I would like to win this because I think my 3.5 year old would love to play with it. He is always saying that his sisters can color better than he can because they are older. this would give him an advantage to drawing things
