sara la pequeña hada bilingual app

Sara la Pequeña Hada is simply a fantastic collection of stories turned into interactive apps and ebooks of the highest quality. Sanoen, a new digital publisher from Barcelona, has really raised the bar in terms of paying attention to detail in their creation of their first digital storybook, “¡La abuela se pierde!”  from the collection which includes “interactive participation, surprises and games, but the main objective is always reading.”

Both the iPad app narrative  and the kindle eBook are available in five languages: English, Spanish, French, German and Catalan.

My girl and I spent a while enjoying the app and I can honestly say she was enthralled by the story of how Sara dealt with abuela’s Alzheimer’s disease. Not an easy topic for a child to grasp, but this interactive story really focuses on the child’s intelligence.

From the site:

Our stories stimulate their imagination and encourage good learning habits.
Our aim is to increase their understanding about some of the bigger issues in life, in a way that is fun and easily comprehensible.

My girl was poking around everywhere, laughing from the many little surprises that pop up and asking tons of questions about what was happening in the story. She never even once noticed that the Spaniard accent is one she never hears much.

Can´t wait for more stories to come out!
