Staying Warm with Gerber Apparel

I’m having a hard time accepting it, but the weather is starting to change in Denver. In fact, meteorologists are actually predicting snowfall in the city both Wednesday and Friday nights. It probably won’t be a lot, if any, but it’ll definitely serve as a reminder that things are changing and I’ve got to start looking at what my kids need to stay warm come winter.

Luckily, my 3-year-old Santiago is already set in terms of thermal PJs since we got two of those from Gerber via Walmart. I know I’ve gotten Gerber PJs before, but I’m not too sure we’d gotten the thermal ones. And let me tell you, these are the kind both you and your children will really like.

The first thing I noticed as soon as I put the PJs on Santiago was how soft they felt, which makes sense when you find out that they’re made of 80% ring spun cotton. For his part, my son loved how comfy they felt and he loved the different colorful prints on each of the PJs we got. One was all football related and the other one was all about firetrucks, which he, like most 3-year-old boys, is infatuated with.

Thermal PJs are an absolute necessity in Colorado and the good thing about the Gerber ones is that they come in all sizes from 6 months to 5T. For the little ones, sizes 6 months to 24 months, you can get a unionsuit, which features snap-front opening for easy changing and dressing. I know those were a savior when my kids were little. My son, who’s a size 3T, got the two-piece version of the PJs.

But the best part about the Gerber thermal PJs has to be the price: $6.24 at your local Walmart.
