I was recently invited to become one of  Scholastic’s Mom Blog Friends which means that every month,  I get to review one or two books from their Book Club catalogs. I immediately jumped at the opportunity because I wholeheartedly support Scholastic’s mission. For obvious reasons, I’ll be reviewing books from Club Leo. By the way, if you are not familiar with Club Leo, you’re missing out on a great option to grow your niños bilingual and Spanish home library. ThisRead More ...

Books & Libros: Un Pato en Nueva York {Giveaway}

If there’s one thing we all want for our kids, it’s for them to follow even their craziest dreams. We hope that no one can deter them from pursuing what they desire. He knows in his “pequeño y valiente corazón” that he is destined for the bright lights of Broadway. ThisRead More ...

They feature Speekee (a cute, purple lemur) and a couple other animal puppets, Jim (the company’s co-founder),Read More ...

Navegamos a Galápagos: una semana en el Pacífico by Laurie Krebs falls under their category of travel and adventure. AsRead More ...

Our house is full of children’s books. They’re everywhere. In my kids’ bedrooms, in their playroom in the basement, in the family room, in my bedroom and even in the bathroom! I’d say maybe 90% of the books are in Spanish, except for the board books which are mostly in English because I’ve always had a really hard time finding board books en español. While my almost 5-year-old daughter no longer has patience for the simple stories usually told onRead More ...
