Want to Host A Healthy Child Party? {Giveaway}

For over a year now both Roxana and I have been advocating for clean air and creating awareness about the toxic chemicals which taint our air as part of the Moms Clean Air Force. We are now taking that a step further  and have volunteered our time to be active with another non-profit we feel aligned with: Healthy Child Healthy World.

For the past two decades, Healthy Child has been on a mission-and very successful at it- to “ignite a movement that empowers parents to protect children from harmful chemicals.”

I have personally joined them as part of the Advisory Board to help out on their new campaign to make their core materials available to the huge population of Latino families who need information in Spanish.

The first materials to be translated will be the 5 Easy Steps and the “Wake Up Story” video—, and integrating them into the Healthy Child Party Kit scholarship program, which donates 10 kits each month to families. Also, in order to reach more families, Healthy Child will need to update the website with mobile-friendly, bilingual capabilities, and translate the mobile app into Spanish. I’m excited and honored to be a part of this and give any time and resources I can. I’m also thrilled to learn more from them and to share that information and resources with you.

For now, I want to let you know about a now yearly and very important happening at Healthy Child: National Healthy Child Party Week!

Since 2009, more than 4,000 hosts have used the Healthy Child Party Kit to educate friends, family and co-workers about protecting our most valuable resource ― our children. It’s simple: Sign up with a tax-deductible $25 donation for shipping and handling and within two weeks you’ll receive a kit filled with educational materials, party planning tools, as well as $300 worth of natural product samples.

Hosts invite up to 15 friends and family to meet on an appointed date at a home, business, school or community center. Together, they view the DVD, distribute the samples and discussHealthy Child’s 5 Easy Steps—with the goal of making long-term changes to protect their kids’ health. That’s it!

Beginning March 1st, each person who pledges to host a Healthy Child Party during National Healthy Child Party Week will be automatically entered to win a weekly prize from sponsors, including presenting sponsors Earth Friendly Products and LUNA.

What’s our goal? 1,000 participants nationwide! But we can do it, thanks to amazing parents like you!
