Last week we shared with you some adorable and useful coloring and activity sheets from the classic Disney film, Bambi. We hope your kids are enjoying them and are looking forward to watching the film and joining several generations of kids that have loved Bambi and his forest friends.
Bambi has been released from the Disney Vault today and can now be found completely remastered in both DVD and Blu-ray format. We received our copy last week and my girl has already bumped it to the top of her list of movie choices. Her favorite part is definitely when Bambi is learning to speak and Flor and Tambor (we watch it with the Spanish option on) are teaching him how to say “Pájaro” and “Flor.” Camila kept laughing and screaming at the screen “¡Pájaro! Se dice ‘Pájaro’, Bambi.” A classic is still a classic.
As of today, relive some of your favorite Bambi moments and create new ones with your child. We have a copy of Bambi Diamond Edition (includes DVD and Blu-ray) for TWO winners.

I’ve never seen it, if you can believe that. I think they showed it at my kindergarten once, but parents had to sign a permission slip (because of the whole Bambi’s mom thing) and my parents didn’t sign it for some reason so I got a 2 hour recess with a few other kids while the rest of the class watched the movie. I’m pretty sure its scarred me for life and destroyed my social status ever since. Maybe I should watch Bambi to see what all the hubbub was/is about.
Bambi was one of my favorite Disney movies as a kid. I remember pretending to be Thumper and having a bunny named Thumper because of the movie!

I can remember being in a theater and watching Bambi on the screen when I was young. The only actual scene I can remember, however, is the fire.

Honestly, my childhood memories of Bambi are a little sad, I will never be able to forget when I first figured out what happened to his mother..however it is a lovely and beautiful movie and it also has good memories for me like when he was trying to say Butterfly for the first time!
