107. That’s how many birthdays Dr. Seuss is celebrating on March 2nd; and, no, it’s not in cat years! PBS Kids is having a party by airing a two-hour marathon of The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!, the popular educational show that supports young children’s science learning with Dr. Seuss’ whimsical style.
The two-hour marathon will include the premiere of these two episodes:
“Incredible Journey/Bamboozled”–The Cat introduces Nick and Sally to two incredible creatures, Salmon Sam and Zhu Zhu the panda
“Teeny Weeny Adventure/I See Seeds”–the Cat takes Nick and Sally on two “tiny” adventures.
The fun will then continue with encore presentations of two favorite episodes of THE CAT IN THE HAT KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THAT!
Since we are proclaimed fans of “El Gato” (as my girl loves to call him) and Dr. Seuss books, we were sent over a box full of party goodies and books so we could have our own birthday party for Dr. Seuss. We want to share it with you and send you your own party kit. The winner will receive a box with everything you see in the picture above.
All you need to do is leave a comment below letting us know which has been your favorite The Cat in The Hat Knows A Lot About That episode. Hint: you can watch video clips of the shows here.
Visit The Cat in the Hat page on PBS Kids to download some fun coloring pages, activities and to play games for some more party fun!
Giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to our winner: dddiva!
