The American Heart Association celebrates March as the National Nutrition Month and a time to “make simple steps part of your life for long-term benefits to your health and your heart.”

My husband and I are eating better (more balance in our nutrients) and started doing Jillian Michael’s 30-day shred last month for some good exercise. My clothes all fit better already!

I am a FB fan of SpanglishBaby, and have really enjoyed reading the community discussions.
I make sure to eat a healthy breakfast with my children every morning and we take walks in the neighborhood as we explore nature:)
My husband and I always eat a healthy breakfast together (although sometimes it is hard to find the time), we take time in the kitchen preparing healthy omelettes, protein shakes and on occasion certain cereals. We also take daily walks with our dog through our neighborhood and we have replaced huge water jugs at our office desks instead of bringing a stash of soda’s. Slowly but surely we are trying!
We exercise and eat lot so fruits and veggies to stay healthy. Plus this year I have studied and learned lots of the benefits of drinking water and have started drinking a lot more to stay healthy.

I make sure that I am drinking more water to not get dehydrated. So many illnesses begin with dehydration.
To stay healthy I workout for at least 60 minutes, 7-days a week. I make sure it is an intense cardio/strength based workout. We also eat pretty decent, we don’t eat fast foods at all and do not drink pop. My kids and I also take supplements to make sure that we get what we need because it would be near impossible to get what you need from food alone.

My boyfriend and I go for a 2 mile run around our neighborhood every evening
I excercise and watch what I eat.
I try to get at least 8 hrs. sleep, walk regularly,eat lots of fruits and veggies, dance while I clean the house and laugh, laugh, laugh.
I just found out I have high cholesterol, so I have been eating healthier, exercising and taking flax seed oil everyday.
To keep healthy I eat lots of whole grains, fruits, and veggies. I try to stay away from processed foods. I also do cardio exercises at least 3 times a week. Thanks!

Switched over to diet pop instead of regular pop… Also trying to eat more fresh fruits + veggies.
We exercise regularly, try to eat healthy and good portions, and we drink a lot of water.

I am a member of weight watchers and i’ve been lifetime (been at my goal weight) for several months now. I just got my neighbor to join too! No better way to control portions than to track what you eat.
