As a Spanish teacher and mother raising bilingual children, I am always searching for resources to support my children and students’ language abilities. I was absolutely thrilled to be given the chance to review Whistlefritz’s newly released Educator’s Collection! This comprehensive collection includes the Spanish for Kids DVD series, music CDs, a Spanish Immersion matching card game, and an extensive book that contains original Spanish lesson plans for kids and innovative activity pages. The collection is indispensable for providing children and students with educational activities to further their knowledge and understanding of Spanish.
My children absolutely loved the captivating and enchanting DVDs! These award-winning episodes are well made and fascinated my children! They are their favorite DVDs, and my boys want to watch them repeatedly. The immersion method, which is essential for the learning of a new language, is used. I especially appreciate the consistent use of comprehensible input throughout the video. The Spanish is clear and easy to understand, with the repetition of new words and phrases guaranteeing that children will learn while watching. The songs in the videos encourage the children to participate and sing along, but for my boys the fun and loveable mouse Fritzi was the star of the show.
We very much enjoyed the up-beat songs on the CDs, which include some traditional Latin tunes as well as some new songs. The award-winning singer and songwriter Jorge Anaya create music that is easy to learn and fun for singing and dancing along with. A songbook is included which contains the lyrics and translation for the songs in the DVDs and on the CDs. Music is one my family’s favorite ways to learn Spanish, and the Whistlefritz CDs are our favorites!
The memory matching cards game was great fun for the whole family! My boys loved the cleverly illustrated action cards, and my five year old took great pride in reading the verbs under each drawing. Playing together was a fun way to learn and review new words all while interacting in Spanish.
By far my favorite part of the educator’s collection is the compilation of Spanish lesson plans. The activity-based curriculum will be invaluable for teaching both my sons and my students. The content-based units and cross-curricular lesson plans provide excellent ideas for furthering the understanding and speaking abilities of the students in my classes. I especially love the materials and worksheets that can be copied and used in the classroom and at home.
I highly recommend Whistlefritz’s Educator’s Collection for parents and teachers who are committed to raising bilingual children. This multi-media collection provides interactive, hands-on language-learning activities, video, and music that will significantly enhance the learning in the classroom and in the home.

I am homeschooling my 4 yr old daughter and 3 year old son. The whistle Fritz educators collection would be an excellent learning tool & source for my babies to learn and enhance their Spanish & English curriculum.
Hello. Wow this is great. I am a Family Home Daycare Provider overseas on a military base and this would be perfect for my daycare and children. I run a bilingual daycare and I’m always looking for good materials and lesson plans that the children would be interested in. Reading and going on the website just brings a smile to my face. This would be perfect. Not only for my daycare but my children that are in my care also. Awesome giveaway.
Oh how I would love to win this wonderful set. It seems in all my hard attempts at trying to get my daughter into a Spanish Immersion school, have not been enough. She will be starting Kindergarten this fall in a traditional elementary school. That leaves learning Spanish up to me (which I am not confident in doing a good job of as she gets older), so this would be a huge help to continue to teach her (and my son) Spanish correctly.
I would use this to help teach my children spanish in a mostly monolingual home! maybe teach my husband too!
i already subscribe!!
I would use the Educator’s Spanish Collection to reinforce my homeschooling Spanish lessons for my daughter.
We are a bilingual English/Spanish household with a 3.5 year old daughter. This set would be wonderful to reinforce what she is learning at home.
We are a Latin family and at home we try to teach and preserve the additional Spanish language in the daily life of our daughter. I use this collection as a tool to supplement my teaching to it, since every afternoon I try to sit and read in Spanish, and show you the alphabet, vowels, and play on words in this language.
I will use this set to continue developing my daughter’s Spanish language skills! Looks awesome!
I am a Spanish teacher for young children through adults. I am always looking for new curriculum and class ideas for my grade school aged kids. I would use the curriculum as a supplement to my classes, many of which are given to home schoolers.
would be a blessing to win this set and start learning Spanish this new school year!
We would love to supplement our kids spanish immersion.

I have a 6 yr old in a Spanish / English dual language class at school, and I would use it to supplement at home and to bring more exposure to my 4 yr old, who will also eventually be in the dual language program. It would be especially great for summertime use when we are all trying hard to keep up the Spanish. My husband and I are not fluent in Spanish, but we keep trying with the vocabulary and practice!
Wow- what an incredible set! I’d love to have the educator’s resources for a few reasons. I teach Spanish to preschoolers twice a week, and I know how much learning happens with fun songs and visuals. Whistlefritz looks like such a such a great program to implement- especially since I don’t have any reproducibles to use. I am also a mom to two girls ages 3 and 4, so they would be especially excited about this set. My four year old starts an immersion kindergarten next year, so this would really benefit her when she is learning alongside native speakers, and getting her used to hearing others speak in Spanish besides just her mom. Finally, I probably could even use some of the video clips with my Spanish 1 students at middle school too- they’d get a kick out if it!
I would love to use this to help in my quest to pass along my first language to my children.
This would be great for at home and for a few classes at our local homeschool coop!

I would use it at home for my two young daughters.

I just graduated from college with my Spanish degree and I will begin student teaching in the next few weeks. I would like to have some good materials to start off with to build knowledge because right now I will be starting from scratch.
My daughter is in a dual language English/Spanish program at school and this set looks like a wonderful way to add more Spanish practice. Her dad and I didn’t take Spanish until high school and were definitely not fluent. Still hoping for bilingual babies though!
Would love this for my children. I homeschool 3 kids who are learning Spanish at home. Also a subsriber
It would absolutely help me in my efforts to teach Spanish to my neighbor’s kids. I do a free Spanish preschool to share with other kids the beauty of bilingualism. Since I am not a teacher, I struggle to come up with ideas. The educator’s Spanish collection would not only benefit my 3 children, but the other 8 kids I’m teaching Spanish
This program looks amazing. A learning tool like this would be so helpful in our home where I am trying to raise two kids to be bilingual.
I will love to use it with my bilingual children, and with some of their bilingual friends. We meet weekly to practice and this material will be perfect for us.

I am homeschooling my daughter as a single parent AND my second language is Spanish, not my first. We spend about 6 weeks a year in Costa Rica to spend time with the family there, but I have to figure out how to keep her spanish somewhat fluent in the meantime! This collection would be so helpful to help me with that!
Oh… and I’m already a subscriber! I love receiving daily encouragement and ideas to raise my children bilingual!
This would be so helpful for the Spanish Club I volunteer to teach at my children’s school!
My 3.5 year old son was diagnosed with mild autism in March, along with expressive/receptive language disorder. When we first noticed he was having trouble with speech, we were forced to stop talking to him in spanish and english, and focus on getting him to understand one (English) to avoid confusion. With a lot of help from his bilingual speech therapist, he is finally starting to put 3-4 word phrases together and understand the english language structure. Slowly, we have started re-introducing words in Spanish, but he is a slow visual/hands-on learner and it will take time as he needs A LOT of repetition. This collection would be extremely helpful for him as he would be able to learn Spanish at his own pace and with a lot of visual tools. It’s perfect!
I would use it with my daughter at home.

I am a first grade teacher in a newly formed Dual Immersion Program. We successfully began last year with out first cohort of 40 students who are going to be in first grade this year and a new group of 40 will begin Kindergarten this year. We are a team of four teachers (2 in K and 2 in 1st) and would share a program like this among our 80 students. Any recommended resource like this one will put to great use to make our program succeed as it continues to grow.
I have considered doing a Spanish preschool again and this would make it easy! What a great set!
I am trying to raise my two daughters bilingually. I will also share the program with two friends who want to raise bilingual children. In addition, I have two friends who teach Spanish summer programs to young children and may want to review this program. Finally, during the school year, here in Western NY, there is an Elementary school program that needs improvement. I will pitch the program to director so she can use as an additional instructional tool.
The site is wonderful and this set looks fantastic! I think it’s the perfect tool in helping to teach my children Spanish!
I’m a mom of a 20 month old, 4 year old and seven year old. I’d like to use this set to support my efforts in teaching my children Spanish. I am also an early childhood educator with Chicago Public Schools. I recently had a prek class of all Spanish language learners but few supplies tow work with. Needless to say, I was doing tons of translating! This would be unbelievably helpful for both personal and professional reasons.
We are about to embark on long term travel in Europe, with our 3 kids(7,3 and6wks) Spain is on our agenda for approx 3mths. Learning Spanish would be fantastic for the kids(and adults)
My son’s preschool has a Spanish class and my little guy LOVES it. Unfortunately he starts kindergarten soon and will no longer have this class. I will use this program to continue his learning at home until we can afford classes for him. It’s so important for our kids to grow up bilingual.

I’m not Latina, but I’ve worked for over ten years using my Spanish skills helping non-English speaking Hispanics in the social service field, I currently help translate part time for a social service agency as a stay at home mom. My Spanish is good, but not fluent. I would use the curriculum to better integrate Spanish into our household, I would use it as a teaching tool for my daughter and our next child. In essence, I would learn how to better teach her my second language, Spanish, as I value this greatly. In the process, I know it would help my own grammar skills. She has become frustrated lately when I speak Spanish, as her language is developing, so I really feel this would help decrease her frustration.
It looks like a great program! Yo trabajo en una escuela de doble-imersión y siempre estamos buscando nuevas ideas.
What a great idea! Looks like a great set to use.
… and the second part of that is that I have my kid’s in a dual language immersion academy and would use to supplement the fabulous education they are already getting.
Hi, I am homeschooling my 5 y/o and 2 y/o boys. This collection would be an excellent learning tool & source for my boys. Would love to use it as part of the curriculum. We’re are always looking for educational DVD’s in spanish..
Thank you for this opportunity!
I Teach kinder dual immersion and have 3 kids who attend and will be attending dual immersion school. I would use this program at home with my kinder and preschooler. Also at school for those kiddos that need a little extra support with Spanish.
I would love to win this! I am a preschool Spanish teacher and raising two bilingual sons at home. This would be especially beneficial to me because I am not a native Spanish speaker and am always looking for great new resources! Thank you for this giveaway!

I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE to win this great set. We recently moved to a very small town with no Spanish offered in the schools. We also moved over 2 hours away from my husband’s spanish speaking family so my children’s exposure to the spanish language and culture has been greatly reduced. My husband does not speak to them in spanish as often as he should even though it was his first language. and I am just learning myself so this would really help us fulfill our desire to raise our kids bilingual.

I would use this set to continue teaching and developing our family’s Spanish language skills.

I am a subscriber! I would love to have this and use it with my little girl. One of the best gifts I can give her is for her to be able to speak Spanish. This would definitely help!
I am trying to start a Spanish-immersion afternoon program in my neighborhood, which doesn’t offer it. I already have a lot of moms interested, and this would also reinforce the Spanish I speak to my children at home (my husband does not speak). This would be a perfect tool to have, and would also help expose Whistlefritz to several interested parties.

First, I would like to use the curriculum with my own children. We are raising them bilingual lay, and possibly homeschooling them. I also want to start tutoring Spanish and leading Spanish-immersion classes for young kids.

I am recently seeking employment in a two-way immersion school. This set would be extremely beneficial to use in the classroom and share with other teachers. I also have two young children that I would love to use this set with.
I host Spanish camps for children and families and I would definitely try to incorporate elements!

I’m a Spanish teacher, teaching PK-8th grade. It’s very hard to find good Spanish resources. I would love to evaluate these materials.
My daughter is about to start a Spanish dual language program and I would either use this to add to her learning at home or gift it to her class if the teacher can use it. Love to see these resources!!!
I am a subscriber. Thanks for doing the giveaway.
This is great. I would use this to enforce Spanish in the home. Also my daughter will be in the dual immersion Spanish program in her school. I am pretty sure they could also benefit from this. I am an email subscriber.
Love this!! Would use it to teach my son & daughter.
I almost purchased Lil Pim for homeschooling my children. While researching Lil Pim, I came across this program and am very excited to use it as my children’s first exposure to another language!!
I would love to share this with our whole family & our community!

Another homeschooler who would love to use this with my kids. They are so naturally curious about other languages at their ages that it seems a shame not to take advantage of it.
