No other TV station in the US can compete with V-me for quality educational programming for kids en español. We have always gladly written about their programming because we truly are fans and we´re always excited when they add a new show to their line-up.
This time, we want to introduce you to PEEP and the Big Wide World. Peep is a little chicken, or a “Pio”, as he’s called by our girl, who hangs out with his buddies-Chirp and Quack. Through their big-eyed and fun exploration of the world that surrounds them they casually teach our children basic science and nature concepts like shadows, water, sounds and colors. Science is all around us, and PEEP makes it so engaging and humorous that your kids will never know it’s all based on science…in Spanish!
Have fun watching this episode where the chirpy friends learn about water and fishes, and then scroll down to enter the special giveaway we have for you! You can catch PEEP and the Big Wide World Monday-Friday from 9:15-9:30am on your local V-me station. To easily find your channel go here.

I’m already a fan on facebook for both V-Me and Spanglishbaby. We saw this cartoon for the first time just the other day and my son was entranced. I think he likes the creatures’ big eyes and all the bright colors.

My 2 sons enjoyed the video, El Museo de Pesces. I was amazed with the story; it uses quite a creative story line to engage the children all the while teaching them about science!
So cute! My son loved the games and he does the cutest pipipi sounds like a pollito when he saw them!
I’m a fan of Spanglish Baby on Facebook:)
My daughter and I enjoyed the live action videos by using a flashlight in the Explore Shadows video.

My two kids and I record in our dvr this show everyday. We tape it in Spanish from VMe and and in English from Discovery Kids. I laugh more than they do, I think. My 4-year-old daughter watched the episode of the fish museum with me, and we both laughed…it was so cute how the fish can get out to see the world outside the pond. We would absolutely love to get one of the baskets….we’ll keep our fingers crossed. Thank you!
I love the science activities!
