My tie for favorite animated movies last year was definitely between Toy Story 3 and Tangled. I knew TS 3 was going to be good, but I was so pleasantly surprised that Tangled was as good as it is, and that Disney’s version of Rapunzel is a strong, willful and beautiful princess with 70-foot hair to tout.
Tangled will finally hit stores on March 29, but Disney sent us an advanced copy of the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack last week; it’s been the only movie my girl wants to watch. We sing, we twirl, we act like ugly thugs with hooks, and we run when Mother gets angry. We also watch it in Spanish–as we do all movies at home–and I get the special treat of hearing Chayanne’s voice as Flynn Rider, the handsome thief who, after a little prodding with a frying pan, helps Rapunzel escape her tower.
One of you will get to win your own copy of Tangled here! (Click more to enter giveaway.)

My twin girls are huge fans of all the Disney movies. We didn’t get to see Tangled when it came out because my girls don’t usually do well in movie theaters. They are more comfortable at home in their Jammies.
I heard great things about this movie from my friend’s kids, so I’m interested to see it! Disney never lets us down over here.

We haven’t seen this movie yet. I’d like to have the DVD cause this would be a good movie to show on family movie night. It looks very entertaining for both kids and adults. Thanks.
We haven’t seen it yet – but we have heard it’s really good and can’t wait to see it!
We saw tangled right after it came out and loved it. When I asked my daughter what her favorite part was she said “everything”! We can’t wait for the DVD to come out.
Violet’s favorite part was the end when Flynn came back to life. She had been bawling her eyes out a moment before.
I haven’t seen it, but I’m a fan of kick-butt-action princesses. Belle and Mulan rock, and I hope Rapunzel does as well.
I did indeed see this movie and the theater and loved it. Best part when she keeps hitting him with the frying pan to keep him “out”
We saw it in the theater! My favorite part is seeing all the lanterns float towards the end!
We, even my husband, have wanted to see it since we saw the trailers (probably when we were checking out Toy Story 3); however, we have not yet seen it. I introduced my kids to it with your video of the week and they thought it looked hilarious.

My dear husband surprised us one day by taking my daughters and I to see Tangled in the theater. We really enjoyed it and I think we all enjoyed the scene where all the lanterns were floating around Rapunzel and Flynn. We also loved the scenes with the horse. He was hilarious and his vendetta to get Flynn was comical. He almost stole the show.
