Anne Geddes is known for her photography, mostly of babies and kids in flowers, with flowers, on flowers, etc. Mis primeros cinco años (My First Five Years) takes it a step further by incorporating the photographs into a baby memory book where you can keep all the little details that come with the newness of a baby – milestones, pictures, measurements, etc. Sprinkled throughout this book you’ll find Anne Geddes’ famous photographs. I will say however, that some of the photos are a bit too much for me in terms of how babies are photographed, but if you’re a big fan of Anne Geddes then this will be right up your alley.
The quality of this book is beyond anything that I have seen out there as far as memory books go. The cover is ultra sturdy and the pages are like smooth cardstock. These pages allow the photographs to be spectacular.
The book also has a sturdy envelope glued to the back cover where you can keep memories. It comes with a colorful pull out height chart which you can start using right away. It’s beautiful enough to have it on your wall as part of the decor in the baby’s room.
I love that this book is available in both Spanish and English. The contents (see below) are entirely the same in both versions and both versions also have the height chart. I like that even the quotes under the photographs are translated into Spanish! Seeing this book, I wish my mom had kept something like this for me. It would have been great to look back and see what my first five years in this world were like.

My favourite photo is of my 2 year old giving a butterfly a kiss at his baby sisters memorial service. so sweet, innocent and pure. at the time he said “this is my angel sister from heaven” brought an instant tear to the eye of everyone at the service. xx
My favorite picture is one where I am kissing my 2-month baby girl on her cheek. The way the picture was taken shows mainly her face. Her large, dark eyes are looking up as if she is taking in and pondering upon the endless love i have for her. It’s breath taking to me! I love it!
my favorite pics of my son are a series we did one night of him in the tub – we captured the purest most authentic facial expressions!
My favorite is a picture of my daughter. Her hair is wild and bushy but she has a big genuine smile on her face.
My favorite photo of baby Gabriel is of him passed out in my arms “fat and happy”!
My favorite photo is the 3d ultrasound we had done by surprise. It’s amazing how you can see the features of the baby already!
I have several favorite photos but one of my favorite is one of just my fathers hand, which is weathered, callused, almost arthritic-you can tell that he has worked hard all his life and my newborn sons hand wrapped tightly around his finger-clenching reassuring that my son is strong like Grandpa. My son had issues at birth and all the specialists gave me the bad news-not much to look forward too. For some reason my father kept telling me everything was going to be just fine, and he was right.
My favorite photo is of our 2-yr old daughter, wearing a pink and white crocheted dress that her Lola (Grandma) made for her. She’s looking off to the side and has the sweetest smile ever!
My favorite picture is of my 4 year old son giving a kiss to his 12 months old brother, they look so adorable together, the picture capture all the love for his baby brother, is just cute to see it.
My favorite photo of my baby is when she is wearing her baptism dress, she looks like a beautiful princess.
Thanks!
