Rio The Movie on DVD {Giveaway!}

As of today, Rio is available for your home viewing on DVD and Blu-ray.  This is a movie our kids will have a blast with and can also learn so much from with our guidance if we want to teach them about the Portuguese language, Brazil and it’s beautiful traditions such as Carnaval, and about endangered species such as the blue Macaw.  We also have activity sheets here and here for you to compliment the home viewing.

Rio was the director’s, Carlos Saldanha, passion project because after the success of his previous movies — such as Ice Age — he wanted to go back to his roots and showcase the beauty of his country, Brazil.  He did a great job at bringing us the rhythm and sabor his home is known for.
