Like me, Vanessa really likes magazines. I got her a subscription to National Geographic Little Kids about a year ago and she has been completely enthralled by it, so I just renewed her subscription.
So when we got a sample of the brand new Disney FamilyFun Kids magazine, she was super excited.
Although the magazine is obviously in English, I’m so used to translating pretty much everything that she gets her hands on that’s not in Spanish, that this was no different.
Vanessa is also totally into “actividades” as she likes to call any kind of arts and crafts and this one magazine is loaded with them! From art pages to snacks they can make themselves, all the crafts in this magazine scream fun! The best part? They’re fairly easy to accomplish, which for a mom (like me) who doesn’t consider herself the most gifted in this arena, is a blessing! Thank you, Disney!
We were lucky to the mag along with lots of fun supplies needed to make some of the crafts. Check out the pictures below, so you can which one we chose to do!
I must say the craft was perfect and we actually worked on it while it was snowing outside. So I took that opportunity to talk a lot about the winter, snow, snowflakes, snowmen, etc… all in Spanish!
