By now many of you know that part of maintaining this site and community is attending social media and blogging conferences. What we get out of these conferences is not only the chance to learn and grow our social media skills, but also to connect with our blogging peers and the brands that are interested in partnering with us and aligning with our raising bilingual kids movement.
One of the conferences I attended last year for the first time is called evo (The Evolution of Women in Social Media). This was my first trip to Park City, Utah and I was happily impressed by the whole experience. I was also one of the few Latina bloggers there and since then have been promoting this particular conference like crazy amongst my bloguera friends because it´s on my definite list of must-attend.
So, I´m back for more evo this year from July 12-14 and I want one of you to come with me! Rice Krispies is generously giving us one full-access evo conference pass to giveaway here (valued at $399). Yay!
If you´re a seasoned blogger, this is perfect for you. If you´re a newish blogger, this is perfect for you. If you´re seriously thinking about blogging, this is perfect for you, too!
Check out all the fabulous evo ’12sessions, workshops and events your full-access pass will open up for you. Plus, you´ll find a new tribe that will stay with you for a while.
Before you check out the giveaway and enter, we invite you to share your Snap, Crackle & Pop moments on Facebook and get the chance to have your picture posted as the brand’s weekly cover photo. Super cute!

I visited the Rice Krispies website and I have to say that all the recipes are so cute! My girls narrowed their favorite recipes down to the “50 State Treats™” and the “Rice Krispies Dipper Treats™”, but upon a show of hands the “50 states” won. This year my twins studied the 50 states so they were ALL OVER these! Thanks for the tip on the site! (Personally I like the ones on the stick. Less cleanup…)

The recipes are all so wonderful, inviting and creative. My toddler loves sweets so I knew that he would LOVE the treats and that they would be a hit. My eight year old is extremely picky with textures and sweets. It was not a hit with him and he quickly declined. I, on the other hand ADORE anything rice Krispy–lol–as a little girl I remember my dad telling me to listen to them as they spoke to me when he poured the milk into my cereal bowl. My imagination would run wild!!!! :0)
The Very Cherry Treats look awesome. I never thought of adding dried fruit to them.
