My daughter just experienced her first Scholastic Book Fair at school. I volunteered to work the fair a couple of days, not only because I wanted to help, but also because I wanted to see her in action. And, it was just as I expected, she was in book heaven! I helped her, and her little friends, fill out her wish list and a few days later we went back to the fair and got her a couple of the books on her list.
Since she had a few more books on there, I was really happy to find out that Scholastic Book Clubs has joined forces with Kellogg to make it easy to get free books. All you have to do is to purchase 2 participating Kellogg’s products exclusively sold at Walmart and redeem the special codes found inside each box online to download a $5 coupon. You can use the coupon for books or other products through Scholastic Book Clubs or at the Scholastic store online.
It’s that easy!
Please note that this special offer is available until July of next year (all codes must be entered by 7/1/12), so you have plenty of chances of growing your children’s library for virtually nothing.

My daughter and I read every night before bed. We have a sofa that is in front of a bay window in our living room while we listen to classical music.
Sorry for the bad grammer. Meant to say that where we read while listening to classical music.
We have no nooks! You can find books in every single room of our home. My kids generally prefer to read on the couch or in bed, but it is not uncommon for them to walk up to a bookshelf, select a book, then drop to the ground and start reading.
Thanks for the giveaway!
My kids and I get cozy on the couch with a good book.
When I read with them, we snuggle up on my office sofa. When they read alone (just about every other free moment of the day!), they can often be seen on the same sofa either hanging upside-down (like Mork in the old sitcom Mork & Mindy) or tangled together like pretzels.
I read to my 4 year old every night before i put her to bed. its our time together and she loves the routine.
I grew up with my own little library when I was a kid. My parents didn’t make much money, but they always provided the most important things, like books! Now that my daughter is 6 months old and has her own room, we are in the process of making her own library. That was always my favorite spot to read.
I have a loveseat in my bedroom where we read books and the Bible each night before bed and we also have a comfortable recliner next to a bookshelf downstairs in our homeschool classroom where we like to read during the day.
It sounds weird, but my kids love to snuggle up in this small nook in between the couch and the loveseat. right in front of and under an end table. It’s like a little cave for them, and the light from the lamp on the end table makes it the perfect spot to curl up and read. Or build a fort with pillows. lol
I like to read with my kids as a mean of relaxing before they go to sleep.

We so love magically delving into the wonder of books everywhere and anywhere…..especially cozily wrapped in bed, under the willow tree, on the train (the Red Line), in a mama bear cuddle of love….so truly wonderful!!! : )
Thanks so very much for this fabulous give~away! : )

I have 8 children….. and they all love to hear their father or myself read to them. We love to read outside sitting under a big oak tree… when the weather is nice, of course. In the winter, we love to read in front of our fire place, drink hot chocolate, and go the whole nine yards! Of course, some of our children are older now and read to themselves, but those memories, I know, will stay with them forever.
We have a book shelf in my child’s bedroom and a chair next to it where he likes to read

I love to read with my girls snuggled up in their bed!
My twins are 6 and learning to read, so most of the time I have them read a book to me snuggled up on one of our recliners.
