What can parents do if they speak only English and nevertheless want to have bilingual children? Learning a language up to fluency is very time-consuming, but there is one language than can be learnt much faster. It is Esperanto. By the time you find out you are pregnant, there is probably still enough time to learn to speak Esperanto fluently by the time of the birth. See lernu.net for free courses
