Get ready to dance along to Mr. G’s new album: Bugs.
Mr. G is Ben Gundersheimer, an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer who spent 20 years as a rock frontman and solo artist, and also has a masters degree in elementary education. Now he has transitioned into family music, and his new album is really just that, music that the whole family will surely enjoy.
With musical styles that range from bluegrass, bossa nova, and folk to ska and rock, there is something for everyone to groove to. Bugs is perfect for birthday parties and car ride sing-a-longs.
Not only is Mr. G’s new album full of a variety that stirs you to sing and dance, but he’s even included two bilingual songs in his album which we’re super excited about. “Cocodrilo” and “Vamos a la Playa” feature backup vocals by the award-winning string band leader Rani Arbo. What a great way for our kids to feel identified and proud of being bilingual!
Mr. G has already brought his music to Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia, and because of the great response that he got there he is already recording a Spanish future release. To get a taste of Mr. G’s new album play the video below for “Vamos a la Playa”.

My 13 month old daughter “dances” every time she listens to music. We live in a trilingual home. I speak to her only in Spanish & my husband, only in French. I am constantly on the lookout for bilingual or trilingual materials and music
I had never heard his songs before, so I played the video above and my unborn baby started moving around to the music! True story! So cute! He tends to like music with strings. Guess he liked it!

I think my girls would like this because they love music and we are teaching them to be bilingual!
My 3 boys would LOVE this music and the beach connection. We moved from the sugar sand beaches of Florida to New Mexico 1yr ago and they are really missing the beach. They are also getting really interested in Spanish. I could also use it for a beach unit at the elementary school where I teach Spanish so it would be a double win here!! Thanks for the opportunity to win and AMAZING prize
I would love to win this CD for both my daughter and school. I could really use this with my 3 year old as well as my students in PreK-3rd grades.
My daughter(1/2 costa rican) was born in Costa Rica and we lived there until she was 2. We love the beach and weirdly enough, my daughter loves all kinds of bugs(must be because we lived in el campo in costa rica and were surrounded by every creature you could think of).
My son would love it because we always try to learn with music

Hi there:
My 2 daughters (5 and 3) love to dance and sing. We are taking the challenge of raising them bilingual Materials to read and listen to are not always available, so they are learning more songs and rhythms in English than in Spanish. I am sure they will get crazy about the CD and so I will. Thank you so much for the chance to win the CD, and the info about Mr. G’s music.

As the mother of a four year old boy, nothing gets his attention quite like bugs. We just moved up north from Texas were spanish as a second language as a given. unfortunaely we moved while before my son turned two and what he had learned up to that point he forgot. And there aren’t very many other languages for him to be around in a small town in Pennsylvania. I’d love to have something like this for him.
My grandaughter is learning spanish and chinese by watching Dora. Her brother is special needs and cannot talk or sing but she spends lots of time singing and dancing for him! They both would enjoy this very much!!

My great friend is currently pregnant, she just came to the US from Puerto Rico last September and she is still struggling with english. I think this would be great way for her and the baby to interact and she may learn a couple of things for herself….They would love this……:)
I think my boy would love this because he is very interested in bugs and enjoys fun songs.

I am from Texas and both my kids listen to both english and spanish versions of songs when I can find them. I am trying my best to teach my children to be bilingual, because as an adult, I can see the benefits of being bi-lingual.
My kids love all music. This will give us something additional to listen to and we can discuss the lyrics as they learn more spanish words! I also teach general music at a small school and could use it for our preschool class.
My son loves learning some spanish words at preschool so I’m sure he’d love this CD
My daughter would love to learn Spanish. I was a teacher and know the magic of learning through fun songs. I would love the opportunity to sing with her learning all the way ;o)
