A good friend tipped me off to this event put together by the Parents Education League for parents looking for multilingual education offers in the Los Angeles area. This Sunday, April 15th from 2:00-5:00 pm you can go to Vistamar school in El Segundo and meet preschools and K-12 public and private schools offering foreign language curriculum and find information about language enrichment programs and products in a single location. They will also have an arts and crafts area for children.
The Multilingual Education Fair is free with pre-registration, $5.00 per person at the door.
Let me know in the comments section if you plan on going and maybe we can meet up!
Awesome! Ok… So, we are moving to LA area this summer (Claremont). I can’t attend this conference, but I would love any information you might be able to share! I did sign up for the newsletters since I can’t attend. Thank you, Ana, for the info. I will look forward to any more LA resources. My first kiddo will start kinder in 2013.
Oh, yay! Hopefully we get to meet soon! I will take notes on Sunday and report back

There are few options, but growing more and more every day. Depends on the area in which you live. Check out both our forums and our bilingual education directory for options: http://spanglishbaby.com/category/bilingual-education/
Franklin Magnet Elementary in Glendale offers Pre-K in German and Spanish. Both are full immersion programs.
You should go to the fair because it seems there will be lots of options there!
