My husband and I just found a tiny Cuban restaurant in Denver which opened only a couple of months ago and it was like being transported to, well, Miami… because, unfortunately, I’ve never been to Cuba.
¡Delicioso!

What’s the name of the restaurant?? I lived in Tampa for 3 years & got hooked on good Cuban food – haven’t found any in Denver yet.
It’s good, no? The one here is in Lakewood is called Frijoles Colorado.
Here’s a link to the restaurant’s info: http://www.yelp.com/biz/frijoles-colorado-cuban-cafe-lakewood
Enjoy!
Que rico, ahora tengo hambre!
Roxana, que dichosa eres! One of the things I miss the most about the city (now we live in the suburbs) is having a selection of good restaurants to go to — especially comida Cubana y Dominicana. Isn’t it wonderful when you find a nice little place (restaurant) that feels like home? If I ever visit your city, let’s go there and grab un cafecito
A Cuban restaurant in Denver? That’s great! What the best thing you’ve had there? I’ve got Cuban recipes coming out of my ears and I’d be happy to share some good ones!
