Lincoln Elementary School in Salinas, California, is part of the Salinas City Elementary School District (SCESD). Lincoln instituted the K-6 dlp in 2011. In addition, a full 100% Spanish Immersion preschool is offered to three to five year-old children (no Spanish background is required). The goals of the dual immersion program are to promote high academic achievement in both English & Spanish and Bi-cultural competency.
