Holy Family Parish School, Seattle is excited to announce the start of its Spanish Language and Latino Culture Program.
Holy Family plans to start a program with the 2012-13 School Year where students in the Pre-School (3 year olds), Pre-Kindergarten (4 year olds), and Kindergarten (5 year olds) will learn half their subjects in English and the other half in Spanish. Students will be learning Reading, Writing, and Math in English, and Reading, Writing, Social Studies and Science in Spanish. Research indicates that given this type of instruction, these age groups will become proficient in reading, writing and speaking English and Spanish by the time they reach the 5th grade.
