We’re happy to share with you that this Tuesday, September 17th PBS will be airing the first part of a six-hour documentary titled LATINO AMERICANS. We love that our kids will have this beautiful and well-researched resource to learn about the impact that Latinos have made on this great country that we live in. Not only will this be a great opportunity for our older niños to learn more about Latino history in the U.S. but it will also be a great resource for us parents. The documentary will feature interviews with almost 100 Latinos and cover over 500 years of Latino history.
Join us Monday, September 16th to celebrate all that it means to be a Latino American in an awesome twitter party which SpnaglishBaby will be co-hosting along with other great Latina bloggers. Joining us will be the producers of the documentary and you can also expect great prizes. Join the conversation and the twitter party on Monday with the #LatinosPBS hashtag on twitter. You can also become a part of the LATINO AMERICANS project by creating your own video sharing what being Latino means to you and upload it to the Mi Historia page on PBS. Hope to see you all there!
