Even though it may seem difficult to talk to children about such tough topics as the ones Frida lived through and which ultimately were the catalyst for her life’s work, the perfect marriage of text and illustration (by Ana Juan) convey the story in such a magical way that kids are easily enthralled and are left wanting to know even more about Frida.
