I just had a very scary blood pressure reading yesterday. Meanwhile, my husband has really put on some weight since we were married 5 years ago, and has recently been told his cholesterol is getting a tad high.
Time to do something!!!
Just found this website which has LOADS of very helpful tips and includes Latino and African-American recipes, modified to be healthier and still taste good!

For myself I have printed these guidebooks and put them in a 3-ring binder which will have its new home on top of the microwave in our kitchen. However there are also instructions on the website to order printed full-color copies they will mail to you.
Now… for the 30 minutes of exercise or activity every day. I'm thinking… cumbia! Oh, yes, all I need is to move the coffee table out of the way in the living room…
