QuoteAt December's meeting the Houston school board unanimously decided to open a new Mandarin immersion school in time for the coming 2012-2013 school year. It will be at the location of the former Holden Elementary in the Heights area. However, it will be part of the district's Magnet program so free bus transportation should be provided for students from anywhere in the district.
