Dia de los Muertos is my favorite. I absolutely love the meaning behind it, the arts, crafts and food that make it such a wonderful holiday.

I really enjoy art related to Dia De Los Muertos, and really fell in love with it because of art work I have seen from a few of my favorite Latino artists Olga Ayala and Mia Roman. It is such a simple yet colorful celebration of our heritage… with such depth in meaning.

Icannot wait to attend a Dias de Los Muuertos in California…

I have made these skulls in my classroom for years, even when the weather was humid or raining. When the weather has been bad, I just crank the heater full blast for many hours after school gets out and they have still turned out okay. They are a fun project that I do with my family and my students every year!

Great post! Living in Cancun it’s pretty difficult to find a “day without humidity” though, teehee. Luckily the markets are full of beautiful sugar skulls.
