We explore math and science through real life experiences. Their favorite is at the park around fall seasons when leaves fall and change color and how trees prepare for winter. Alot of outdoor exploration happens for authentic math and science questions. This book would be a great compliment to enrich our learning.

I have a 22 yr old son, 20 yr old daughter, 17 yr old daughter, AND a 4 yr old daughter. I taught my older kids to read, write, math & science before they entered pre-k. I teach my 4 yr old daughter to look outside and tell me the weather, “are those dicot leaves?”, chemical changes, physics, and addition…and so on. EVERYDAY. NO joke. I’m a teacher by heart…soon to be by profession. This book will help greatly. We live in historical El Paso, TX.
