I expose my girls to art by viewing it at our local library and museums. I also make sure I let them creatively express themselves using our art easel!!

I am a subscriber and like you on facebook. My son is 5 years old and takes after me in that he loves art and anything to do with art. We are always drawing and painting together. He regularly has a little notepad with him and draws away.

we keep art supplies around the house and routinely try to make art out of everyday items (i.e. old magazines, boxes, etc.) my son also goes to art class at our local neighborhood club once a week.

Books of course!! (I already have that “Frida” one, got it for my girl when she was a baby. Also, Art enrichment classes, and the occasional trip to the museum. Want to take her to see the latest LACMA installation of the Modern, Surrealists where Frida Kahlo is one of the featured artists.

We do a range of things – lately I’ve been introducing my 4yo daughter to pastels, watercolor crayons and ebony pencil drawings.

I let my child explore with washable paint sets. I set down an old large calender or cartridge paper with a paint set and brush. I get all sorts of pictures. From the dogs to family members to places.
