It’s from the “World Snacks” series of board books that includes “Yum Yum Dim Sum” and “Mangia Mangia!” It’s in English with all the food words in Spanish. Although it’s ostensibly a book for toddlers, I’ve read it with first graders who thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don’t have books that celebrate our cultures for 9 year old, but my top pick for 9 year olds is the BONE Graphic Novel (fancy-talk for comic books) Series. It’s awesome and originally writtenin English, but
