Right here is the right website for everyone who hopes to find out
about this topic. You know so much its almost hard to argue with you (not
that I personally would want to…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a subject that has been written about
for ages. Great stuff, just excellent!

why parents have the interest for their children to know Spanish grammar if we do not live in a country who speak spanish. don't you think that speaking spanish could be enough?
what can happen when those children have to go to University? what I know the only University who need the students having good grammar is in Spain or Latino America? but not in Unites States, there are not "Spanish Univerysity over here?

Hello Margaret -

Another option is to find a week-end school. I live in New Jersey, I am French and my wife is Spanish. We are educating our children in 3 languages.

Since I could not find a bilingual school near where we live, I decided to enroll Elena, who is 6, in a French week-end program on Saturday mornings at the Alliance Francaise in Montclair, NJ.

She has homework every week and can now read in French.

It can be an option: having a good english school, and a language school on Saturdays.

It's great Margaret that you are giving your family plenty of time to look at all of your options. How fortunate to have a pool of resources and experts here at SpanglishBaby from which to sound off your dilemma.

I feel Melanie's thorough reply is spot on for you! Dual immersion sounds like the excellent choice for your family, but only if your husband is in 100% agreement with a sincere heart.

Best to you and your soon-to-be bilingual daughters!
