		<description><![CDATA[When I was a teacher, I taught lower grade where I had 20 students and I also taught in upper grade classrooms where I had 34 students in fourth-sixth grade. Honestly, it really was hardly a difference for me between 20 and 34, especially considering that fourth graders are much more independent. Some studies have even demonstrated that class size reduction hasn&#039;t made all that much of a difference in student test scores. If you are a good teacher, you will be a good teacher with more or less students. 

Dual Immersion programs are a long term commitment, where students don&#039;t often achieve full proficiency in both languages until the end of the fifth or sixth grades! It&#039;s such a gift to learn two languages and maybe bilingualism will outweigh the cost of a higher class size!!]]></description>
