I too am the mom who speaks Spanish. Besides speaking only Spanish at home, my three year old goes three times a week to a Spanish immersion early preschool. I love that the children all greet me only in Spanish when I pick up my son. I love even more when the other parents try to speak Spanish to me. What makes me happiest is sharing a day off with my son’s classroom. I arrange it with the teachers to come in and read them a book or learn a new song and dance. I totally related to your awesome article. Thanks for sharing!
