Gracias Kelley! (& Katie and Vivian :)
I just sent you an email and would be more than happy to offer any insight to San Miguel... we are here again for 6 months, actually there are only 4 months left, and I have nothing but positivity to say about our experiences. Which is not to imply that we haven't encountered some bumpy roads and hard times, but I feel so blessed to be here with my kids... you will love it. Write me more for specifics, but thanks again for reading ours... abrazos, Amy

I have loved your entire series! I found it when researching where to take my boys this summer. They are 5 and 7, love new adventures and seem to love learning Spanish. We spent 7 weeks in D.C. last summer so they could attend a Spanish immersion camp there. (There are absolutely no decent Spanish language opportunities where we currently live.) I have decided to bite the bullet and take them to SMA this summer for around 2 months -- probably early June through July. I am in the process of looking for a house rental and setting everything up. I just re-read your stories and am now even more inspired about our upcoming trip and am starting to wonder if we should go for an even longer period of time like you have done. (My email is kelleymbruner@gmail.com) I would love to talk with you about it and get more information on the school your oldest son attended. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom and single, so maybe this is a perfect time for us to do this on a long-term basis -- before I have to get back into the working world and forego super-long vacations. Maybe we'll run into in SMA this summer!
