I love how kids just make stuff up. The other day we were playing bingo and one of the cards had a pine cone on it–I had no idea how to say it and was about to look it up, but my kids decided it was called a “pancón” and were just cracking themselves up.

Also, I loved hearing that you use the word vincha. To me, a vincha is a soft fabric headband and a diadema is one of the hard plastic ones.
