What you say about your son&#039;s experience not being anything like yours, completely resonated with me, because believe me when I say that even though both my husband and I are Latino and have similar traditions, the truth is that we live in the US and for as much as we can try to replicate our holiday experiences, it will really never be the same as how we celebrated in our own countries. I struggle with this issue all the time, but in the end I realize both my children are their own persons and their experiences will be unique!
