The perfect Mother’s Day is having my two children make breakfast for me and just relax together all day.
My perfect mother’s day would be having breakfast served in bed while I read the Sunday paper. Then my family would take me out to a scrumptious lunch and shower me with flowers and gifts. Then I’d come home and lie on my bed and read and nap while they SLAVED cleaning the house from top to bottom.
Oh well…..a girl can dream can’t she?
I really want my daughters to take me out to dinner, but they’re not old enough. So I’ll take them.

For Mothers Day, I am becoming my mom’s workout buddy, she’s been begging me to, excercise with her, and walk with her for awhile, and Ive been lazy and putting it off.

I’m kind of sad about tomorrow being Mother’s Day because….what I dream of doing would be to have had my Husband take me with our 3 young children and travel down to Florida so I can spend Mother’s day with my Mother and Father and have us all be together for a long weekend. I tried to hint around about it, but things with my husband’s job are so crazy and hectic he just couldn’t get away. I am sad because I miss my mother terribly and want to be with HER as well as my own family, so I guess I have to settle to talking to her on the phone about a half dozen or so times tomorrow instead. As a little background, my Mother has been ill and although it looks like she is out of the woods so to speak, life is so unpredictable and I want to see her and be with her, spending quality time with the ones I love is the most precious gift you can give of yourself to another person. Okay, thank you for letting me share my deepest dream for mother’s day!

There’s a restaurant in town that serves a Mother’s Day buffet. Every year I want to go, but it doesn’t happen, lol. I do always have a nice day though.

My dream come true mother’s day would include walking into my home filled with new furniture. My current stuff is outdated and worn.
My perfect Mother’s day would be on a beach somewhere building a sand castle and playing in the waves with me. But really any day I spend with my son is a perfect day.

I will be spending Mothers Day by myself this year. My son lives to far to come and my daughters family will be out of town with my grandson at Jr. Rodeo Competition. I wish I was able to go see him but they are videoing his entries so I can watch when they get home and my son will call to wish me a Happy Mothers Day and my daughters family have called early this morning and will be home tonight and we will watch the video together and treat me to pizza. I’m not a mom, but I like to spoil my mom on mothers day, each year we do something different, so each memory is always special. Some years it’s spa day, others a shopping marathon, but it always involves a special dinner in the evening!
I would love to get a Blu-Ray player but it wasn’t in the budget this year, perhaps for my bithday.
What I really want is money to spend on myself. Like being able to go to Sephora and buy what I want.
