ah! Que nostalgia de mi islita. La verdad estoy totalmente de acuerdo.. showing is better than telling!
My husband and I are Puertorricans living in Co w/ an 11 month old baby.
We get the same question all the time - are going to teach her both languages?- we are surprised. for us is not an option not to. We love being bilingual and we want her to feel proud of her culture as well.
